Espírito Santo, Brazil

from 8.00

Espírito Santo is a special coffee-growing region of Brazil, where its proximity to the sea and unusual microclimate has created a distinct, delicate profile of coffee.

This is a Pulped Natural coffee, a process mainly used in Brazil where after picking the coffee is mechanically depulped stripping all of the skin and much of the fruit flesh from the beans. From here it goes straight out to dry on patios drying beds. With less flesh there is an decreased risk of defect, yet there’s still enough sugar in the surrounding fruit to see a noticeable increase in sweetness and body**.

This coffee works well black and also with milk.
