We're regularly asked what is the best way to make our coffee, truth be told there are no hard and fast answers.  

There is no shortage of great guides across the Internet, so instead trying to reproduce what's already there below are a few of our favourites from some leading figures in the coffee industry.

If you have an iPhone there's a really great app we've come across called Brewtime which we absolutely love.

 
 

V60 Filter

Scott is a world renowned coffee professional who is the author of The Professional Barista's HandbookEverything but Espresso, and The Coffee Roaster's Companion.

In this video Scott Rao Demonstrates his V60 Method in a very clear and simple way.

Aeropress

The AeroPress is a fairly modern brewing device where the coffee is steeped for 10–50 seconds and then forced through a filter by pressing the plunger through the tube.  The result is great tasting coffee that's easy to clean.

In this video Gwilym Davis the 2009 World Barista Champion demonstrates how to use the aeropress.

French Press

The French press, also known as a cafetière is an affordable coffee brewing device invented in 1929.

This coffee maker is an easily accessible and can be picked up fairly affordably in most supermarkets and sometimes found hidden in the back of cupboards.

Here In this video, 2007 World Barista Champion James Hoffman shows his technique to producing really tasty coffee on this device.
