This coffee tasting event is a unique opportunity to cup coffees with somebody we source coffee from – Evie, founder of QUE ONDA Green Coffee, who will be visiting Portsmouth for a few days in May.

The event will be held at The Club House in Southsea, where our most popular coffee, the Washed Villamaria, is served as the house espresso.

On the table will be a selection of fresh Mexican coffee samples that Evie has brought from her recent visits to producers. We don't often get people who live and work directly in coffee-producing countries visiting Portsmouth, making this a rare chance to taste coffees that aren't yet available in the UK and help influence which ones we might bring in.

The tasting will be followed by a conversation where Evie and I will share insights about coffee production in Mexico and our experiences at Lucia Solis's Coffee Fermentation Training Camps. There will be plenty of time for Q&A about coffee production and processing.

Participants will enjoy a relaxed, informal atmosphere perfect for both coffee enthusiasts and curious beginners.

The session will last approximately 1–1.5 hours.

Two ticket options are available:

• Option 1 (£10): coffee tasting only

• Option 2 (£20): coffee tasting plus a 250g bag of Washed Villamaria coffee (a £3 saving)
